Getting all the details you need about APG’s pooled mortgage fund
The first step for any investment should be reading the ‘offer document’ or Information Memorandum (for Wholesale Investors) or Product Disclosure Statement (for Retail Investors).
Am I a Wholesale Investor or a Retail Investor?
A Wholesale Investor refers to an individual or organisation that meets either of the following criteria:
Earn Passive Income With Our Pooled Mortgage Fund
Quarterly distributions
Minimum investment from just $10K
No lock-in investment term
They make an initial investment of $500,000 or more.- They possess an accountant’s certificate from the last six months indicating that:
-
- They hold net assets amounting to at least $2.5 million, or
- They have had an annual gross income of $250,000 for each of the past two fiscal years.
Investors who don’t meet these criteria are classified as Retail Investors.
Application process
Once you’ve made a decision to move ahead, you may complete our online Application Form. You may apply as an individual or joint individuals, or as an entity such as a company, a trust or SMSF.
As soon as we receive your application, the Investor Relations team we’ll contact you and brief you with the onboarding process. It’s on this stage where you will be notified which documents you’ll need to provide us.
For a quick overview on the documents you’ll need depending on which entity type you choose, you may refer to the table below:

Once we have all the necessary documents, we’ll send through the bank details so you can make a transfer. Usually this will happen straight away but at times we might not be able to accept your funds straight away (this is usually when we have too much cash in the bank which we need to lend out first before accepting new investments – too much cash causes a drag on the returns). For first time investors, before you transfer your funds there will usually be a security call conducted to ensure that all the details are 100% accurate before you make the funds transfer.
We’ll keep an eye out for your funds and once it hits our Trust account, you’ll receive an Investment Confirmation usually the next business day. If you’re a Wholesale Investor this Confirmation will come from APG and if you’re a Retail Investor it will come from our Trustee, Primary Securities, who operate the Retail Fund on our behalf.
We’ll also send you the login details for the investor portal where you’ll have access to the documents detailing the performance of your investment, be able to update your details, and register for our Distribution Reinvestment Plan.
Once you’re invested, you’ll receive Quarterly Distribution Statements along with Quarterly Reports providing an update on the Fund. If you would like to reinvest at any time you can fill in a Return Investor Application Form and we’ll let you know if we can accept your funds straight away or if there’s a short wait.
If at any time you have any questions, our Investor Relations team will be on hand to help you!
